Why are we doing this?
On Dec. 30, 2021, the Marshall Fire destroyed 1,084 homes across three Colorado counties and caused $500+ million in property damage. This, however, pales in comparison to the human toll - families without homes and entire communities devastated.
On average, it takes 3 years for a family to recover from this kind of event. That means many families have years yet to go. Over 1,400 households have applied for support from the Marshall Family Fire Fund for household goods, food, clothes, and housing support while they rebuild. We want to help as many of those families as possible.
